Viva Los Baghdad!

Who says that war is hell? Time to party, Hussein style!

Why? Because things are looking up.

Why are we doing this again?

I like the last entry better than this one, but this one is more "relevant". Don't forget to read the last one, though, because it is almost 900 words and a little more fun than this one, and I like it better.

If Saddam Hussein isn't gone by tonight at 8 EST, then hell comes from the skies.

If SH leaves, where can he go? Any country that lets him in is harboring a terrorist, so the U.S. will be after them next.

If SH leaves, he could be saving the lives of millions of Iraqis, except that Bush didn't say what would happen to him if he left. Isn't this just a way of getting him out in the open so that he could be hit by sniper fire? So that begs the question, "Why would he leave?" We already know that he is willing to sacrifice every last Iraqi citizen to save himself.

If SH stays, it is "proof" that he has WMDs and blah, blah, blah.

The biggest question: Why is the U.S. allowed to have these WMDs, though?

Why do we even have laws and bodies saying who can have these things anyway? These things have only one purpose: to destroy buildings and kill thousands and thousands of people. That's it. By their very nature, I see it as silly to even bother with laws to protect us from them, because all the laws in the world are not going to deter someone from leashing that kind of horror if they want to. And besides, can you conscionably say that use of these weapons was lawful? No, better yet, can you say that it was "right"?

The best way to prevent this is to not have them at all, which means one thing: the U.S., as well as any other terrorist nation (come on, it can be reasonably argued that any country that can rain down that much hell is inherently terrorist) must disarm.

So why are they (which mean we) on the brink of war again? I honestly can't recall.
